Time-billed, milestone-billed, retainers: every billing model compliant.
Professional services in Malaysia (consulting, legal, design, accounting, engineering) bills in a dozen different ways: time-based, milestone, retainer, fixed-fee, contingency. MyInvois Bridge handles every billing pattern with the same LHDN-compliant pipeline. Your invoicing rhythm stays yours; the LHDN side becomes invisible.
Three patterns every services firm runs into.
- 01
Time-billing tools don't speak MyInvois
Time-billing tools generally need an adapter for MyInvois. Use manual entry or the REST API today; direct CSV import is coming soon.
- 02
Retainers + milestones need structured handling
A retainer invoice and a milestone invoice are both type-01 to LHDN, but your reconciliation depends on knowing which is which. The bridge's customer catalog + product catalog let you tag every invoice with the contract-line context for clean year-end reporting.
- 03
Reimbursable expenses complicate the line items
Pass-through expenses (flights, hotels, third-party software) ride on the same invoice as your professional fees but carry different tax treatment. The bridge's tax-category-per-line-item model handles this without forcing a separate invoice.
Three patterns services firms settle into.
Time-billing CSV import (coming soon)
Direct time-billing CSV import is coming soon. Today, use manual entry or transform source data and submit through the REST API.
Retainer vs. milestone tagging
Keep contract references in your source data and retain the LHDN UUIDs returned for submitted invoices. Activity-log filtering is coming soon and is not available today.
Per-line tax categories
Professional fee lines carry your standard tax category; reimbursable-expense lines carry zero-rated or exempt categories as appropriate. The bridge validates per-line tax assignment before submission.
